Sustainability Team

At WASPS, we have a Sustainability Council made up of a representative per class in Upper WASPS. The team meet fortnightly to evaluate how sustainable our school is. The committee then action schemes to improve the eco credentials of our school.

Successful schemes have included TerraCycle for objects previously sent to landfill, litter picking club, eco crafts at the Christmas Fair and reducing packaging waste in the café hall.

The committee also work with external charities such as the More Trees BANES tree nursery project.
