We aim to enable our pupils to contribute actively in the running and organisation of the school. The School Council provides a forum for discussion on issues that directly affect the children.
Subjects that the council have discussed have included redesigning our play spaces and developing a system of “Playground Buddies”.
Meetings take place on a twice termly basis with representatives from each class attending.
School Council Members this term are:
Felix 2LH, Edith 2P, Juliet 2H, Rupert 3W, Stanley 3T, Jess 3S, Jacob 4H, Luca/Bromwin 4G, Lulu 4B, Oonagh 5C, Camilla 5SD, Finn 5T, Daniel 6W, Ben 6M and Olive 6B.
Members of our School Council helped a representative from Samaritan’s Purse, load his car with the 95 boxes that the families of WASPS have donated to the Christmas Shoe Box Appeal. These boxes, containing a variety of small presents, sweets, soap, toothbrushes tooth paste, writing pencils and paper etc., will now be sent to children around the world who otherwise would receive nothing at Christmas, showing them that someone cares.

WASPS Supports Schools in Sierra Leone:
Here are some photos of the furniture that WASPS kindly donated, in use in the 3 schools in Sierra Leone. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did and are thrilled to see the furniture being put to good use. In one photo you can see much of the old broken stuff piled up at the back of the room. The overwhelming message from the team is that the furniture has made a huge difference and they are very grateful.
So thank you again,
