Our School Nursing Team is here to help all children grow up healthy, happy, and supported. We work alongside parents, carers, and school staff to provide confidential advice, care, and guidance.

What Does the School Nurse Do?
- Promoting Public Health: Guidance on healthy lifestyles, exercise, nutrition, and personal hygiene.
- Emotional Wellbeing: Low-level intervention and advice for mild anxiety, stress, or worries.
- Continence Support: Practical advice on managing daytime/night-time wetting and toilet routines.
- Sleep & Daily Routines: Helping families establish healthy rest schedules to encourage optimal learning.
- Medical Conditions: Assisting the school with individual care plans and managing complex medical needs.
- National Campaigns: Running local health screening programs including the National Child Measurement Programme.
